sounds very cool !! gr8 work !
But hey, what if the userGuide.pdf was the same as userGuide[1].pdf ?? (same size at least !) you'll have 2 files with different name but same content ? is it useful ? I'm not using the HTTP_Upload package, but in my website I have projects where members can upload files with script, image ...Etc .. If a file name already exist with the same size, it notice the member and told him that "maybe your file already exist" ? if he's the owner of the old file, he can change it, otherwise he have to change the name ! more complex, but this limit unuseful doubles ! That would be a nice feature. But I don't beleive it should be handled in the same package. IT's better to seperate this functionality.
