I just got home, I could have been in prison now till..... Monday!
I was having Shawerma with a friend, we were sitting in the car. Then a police car came near us, and asked for my license. I came out of the car, walked towards the polce car. When I got to his door, he moved forward like 10 meters. What the hell was he trying to do? I felt he was trying to make fun of me. I went back to my car, and kept eating Shawerma to piss him off.
After wating for 2 minutes, he came out. He was angry, he said why didn't you come. I said I tried to come, but seems like you don't know how to respect people. Then, in anger he said "You wanna teach Jordan's authority how to respect people? You are stabbing the SYSTEM". I kinda remembered pink floyd that moment, the wall.
Anyway, I gave hi my License, for some reason, I have 2. When I went to renew my License, they never asked me for the old one. "How come you have two? I'm gonna take to the station". Then I went to the plice station, and he asked me if I had any records, of course I don't. a slow "as opposed to quick" search on his terminal showed otherwise! I had a record, and I needed to be arrested. What the hell!!!!
They handcuffed me, put me in that ugly pickup(Bakam) and took me to Abdali to the court. I stayed standing there for two hours waiting for nothing. Then a man in his Pijamas came, he was really nice. We went to a room that had a sign Shamal Amman ( North Amman Section ). And he kept searching for the reason why I had a warrent to be arrested!
On the paper there was a number of the warrant, He ketp searching for it in a some folder. And he couln't find it. Then came the officer in charge, he said we're gonna prison you till we found out why you were brought here. It sux, it's so unfair!
Then voila, in folder that didn't have an index( What a lucky day) by mistake they found the paper. Wanna know why I was arrested?
To be continued tomorrow....

Yesterday my friend Hisham invited me to join the Spanish Drama Group in Jordan Uni. It takes place once a week every Wed.
I went there yesterday, It was great and so much fun. I found out that Spanish skills suck. Understanding 2 words out of 10 in every sentence is damn annoying. Especially with those natives who got weird accents. But it'll be a great learning opurtinuty to refresh my spanish. And hopefully get a better spanish accent( get rid of the American-spanish ) accent, oh boy, that's probably the lisp.
Maybe after this semester is done I'll start taking classes at Cervantes( Spanish cultural Center ). I'm so in love with this language & culture.

Every now and then I like to browse Google Labs to see what on earth they are doing. I found an interesting new service, might be really useful for academic dudes.
Google Scholar
Google Scholar enables you to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from all broad areas of research. Use Google Scholar to find articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles available across the web.

Two days ago Chris announced PHP Security Consotium. I'm really happy to be part of this group. This is a great learning chance, and hopefully we'd come up with some papers and tests to help other developers secure their web applications.
Yesterday Andi Gutmans joined the group. Andi is one of the original authors of PHP. If you know Zend, the 'nd' in ZeND comes from his name 'aNDi'.
Ben Ramsey submited a proposal to PHP Qubec to talk about this group. I hope the proposal would be accepted.
At the moment we're discussing writing some PEAR packages to help us with our experiments. And maybe later on working on PHP internals to add some security features, mainly to sessions.
