Jordanians making out

Amman is becoming more liberal. If you go out thursday night and cruise a bit you will see things that you have never seen in Amman. Yesterday I saw a couple making out in the back seat, and actually noticing that people could see them, but what the heck, love is in the air. And the other couple is sitting in the front seats driving, probably they had like turns, after 1 hour they would switch places, haha.

If you ask me what I hate most I'd tell you it's such behavior. I just think it's so cheap and bad. So so negative!
Many think I'm da22a adeemeh, but I don't care, I just hate to see such things, and i can't leave couple doing this in peace, I have to annoy them one way or the other

Haha, I must agree with Ammar here. I don't think it's anyones business where people make out! The "make out" domains are on the hill right in front of uni, and khalda. I think its funny..

That's great!My intial wish for them is to start having sex in public.The more westernised and liberal Jordan becomes the more I like it!Hopefully, one day people will throw away the shackles of islamic morality and just enjoy life as is without the constant worrying of some mythical thing called "Allah"etc...etc...Life is meant to be enjoyed so "ahkbar al-dunya"!
Why should anyone care if someone's makin out with his gf in his car? Moreover, why would they even think about bothering them (in one way or the other)..
I mean for god's sake, neither there parents want them makin out inside the house, cut them some slack and let them experience the joys of life.

Well that is not how our beloved Amman should mature to, it is nice to be more liberal, but not in such a way.
you might think this is nice, or cool but it is actually the total contrary, it is repelling and disgusting, because soon enough there wont be anywhere respectfull to hang out with your friends without these ugly seens.

Coming from a society where public affection happens all the time (hello its LA) i have to say ewwww. Anyone would know what i am talking about in regards to that Seinfeld episode where jerry was getting too affectionate with his gf and it was ticking off george and elaine

David said it beautifully, I totally agree with him. Also Linda is right, if there should be such a behavior then at least keep it private.
As for the frustration issue pointed out, I think it's not the reason.
And I believe there's a very big difference between freedom and what these people are doing. Do whatever you like as long as you're not offending or hurting or affecting society in any negative way, or else we'd turn out to be animals driven by desire.

Well, it's becoming the norm to see couples making out in public.
Though for those who have not been to Jordan or even Amman, don't be misleaded. I mean such things happen only in Westren Amman, otherwise Jordan is a very closed and society.
Anyways,who gives a damn? It's non of my buisness!I think this is better than a Muhajjaba (veilded woman) who is screwing around in the low down...And yes woman in Jordan got the whole (independence) issue wrongly...Girls being self dependent and free isn't about slutting up urselves or having BF and stuff
