Ammar, do you have any wasta with Lufthansa? I'm a LOYAL Lufthansa customer and booked an award flight 4 months ago, STILL wait listed for next Wed. I love them, but this is ridiculous. Thanks!
Ammar, thanks for replying. I think we actually have it now! Bana and Attallah were a big help. And, I asked 200 friends to pray. Best wasta.
Please tell your friend it needs to be disclosed somewhere that high season flying with award tickets must be booked SIX months in advance! I enjoy your blog, found it through Natasha and Roba Hey ammar i really enjoy ur blog and guess what? i'm checking it now everyday esp with the "Lufthansa" survey thing.
Concerning our award flights, it's well known that in high season people who pay will be waitlisted esp for flights to Canda and the States, this means for award tickets it's nearly impossible to get confirmation! Even if the flights are not fully booked, flights to those destinations in the high season (jun-sep) will look full, this is something that has to do with yield management! Hi Ammar,
now that we know you have wasta at Lufthansa, why don't you propose to him/her to do a little rescheduling of flights on, let's say the 22nd of July. I HATE these nightly short-haul flights Haha, I wish I can, I travel alot with lufthansa, and I really hate their schedules
The times of the flights are scheduled early morning to catch the connection flights to Canada and the States.
If our flights were departing from Amman in the evening then people would miss flights to those destinations, spend a night in Frankfurt and catch them next day! |
