Earthquake....

I'm chatting with a friend online, and he told me he received a couple of phone calls from people in Irbid telling him that people are in the streets fearing an earthquake.

Then he recieved another phone call from another friend whose dad is a top official, telling him the same thing, let's hope it's just another rumor...

There are always such rumors. It is hard to predict when are earthquake will strike.

As well I got a phone call from a friend at 12-:30 am last night telling me that there is an earthquake at 3:25am last night

ofcourse I laughed at him.. It seems that Jordan got hand on technology that neither USA or Japan has to be able to predict earthquakes. o begoolo ma 3ina 3ilim !

Why do you assume they are rumours? I mean this area is an area of earthquakes... did you guys forget the Egypt earthquake few years ago? or all the small earthquakes that happen every year in Egypt and Aqaba... the dead sea is the lowest point in earth, which makes it really vulnerable, or shalalt ma3een the hot water... where do you think this water comes from, how is it hot? ...remember the old Sodom and Gomora earthquake that wiped out the whole city, or the seashell fossils that were founnd in Dana, where it is thought to have been a big sea which disappeared with a major earthquake.....yeah it happened thousands of years ago... but what are thousand of years in the age of the earth? and how many volcanos stayed dormant for thousand of years only to errupt one day out of the blue...The point is, i hope this is a rumour, but what if it is not?

hahahaha, i find this too funny guys. i read about this on other blogs as well. how soes jordan predict earthquakes like that?

come on, i love in the state of earthquakes, my sister's house is on the the freaking fault line, and every 15 years in LA, a big earthquake happens and the last one was in 1994, and I am not even that worried.

an earthquake comes without warning and thats that. all you can do is make sure you have emergency kits in your cars and just live your life.

Yesterday I figured out HOW SILLY IS OUR NATION & PEOPLE !

if Japan can know before with 3 minutes,how come impressive Jordanian 3asha2iree Technologies would know (weeks) before , la2 oba3den exactly bel minute!

Samir, it was a full moon my dear,those High waves are normal at this time of the month, esp that its chillin out & autumn winds are whispering around

its not about trust SC, the gov cant do such a manifestation where the whole international community would laugh on such a stupid society!

Guys there were some earthquakes in aqaba all day (that day) so they were expecting some to reach us in Amman and they were right somehow coz they reached dead sea and stopped there. Thats what i heard i donno how truth it is .
So its not about fde7a or anything its about expectations

there's a psychology thing..call it a fix... to make someone apreciates what he got.. by tellin him the what if sentence...
say someone says i have a small home.. they tell him:
what if ur whole parents n brothers lost their homes during a catastrophic event n they all went to live with u! imagine this for a month! imagine that u lose ur health or whatever..an eye.. a leg......
so when all of this is over.. the man would be so happy to go back and live in his old house....

and now dear citizenz...
Imagine an earthquake would happen! u might lose ones that u love, u might die!!
would ya really care for a "stupid silly thing" like for an "example" that GAS Prices are going up 30%!!?

PS: Gas prices are up 5% & Deisel 22 %?!

ahh ,ok ... I figured out, Mars's government said it will rise it 30% ... sorry but I've always thought anonymous people come from Saturn not Mars !

lol nasim, I meant that people are too suspecious and distrustful that they would believe rumors of any kind, imagine when it has to do with life and death. Otherwise they will trust that authorities made no statements about no earthquake. I didn't know that earthquakes can not be predicted, and I'm positive many others don't!
