ya allah I laughed real hard, I had a girlfriend balaash mansammi 2asaami who would have answered, wallahi il shabaab ma bi gasru! well done...
LooooL
3azameh inta man.
I'll never forget. - "What motivated you to study IT?" - "Wallah abooy shaja3ny" Habibi Abul Ibrahim. Malhas hilarious..there's someone I know whom i immediately pictured when I read meet wardeh..3ala rasii..there are actually people who are this cheesy..you know ..one cheesy thing I might say ,but most certainly not in an interview and not to someone I just met is hala 3ammi..I just like this mahjoobi quote!
lol
Now he said : Eza 3endak Farah wella Eshy! So what is this Eshy? I can't think of any other occasion, anyone :D? I think "Halla Brabbak hala, would have been more appropriate. The poor guy was trying to impress you by his other skills (hobbies), like he's not a geek who owns a blog :p! So if he said he's taking Salsa lessons, he'll be cool for the job? Dude, if he's good for the job and he really needs it then would you please reconsider? Of course, but he's not good at all! And It's cool to have other hobbies, but you just don't mention such things in an interview!
Kteer mo professional inak bedak tbee3 el CD, sho ya 7aramak men allah el shab (faged) mawhoub o kaza o 7ab yekhdmak, betrou7 bte3mal feh heek o btoktob 3anno kaman? bas bardo it rocks ino ur trying to warn the masses from falling prey to such "slangish casual words", foug wallah!
When you hire someone, they're only gonna work for you 40 hours of the week, that leaves 128 hours where they can do whatever it is that they want. They can do dabkeh or ballet the employer shouldn't care what they do.
I'll tell you what the employer should care about though, the employer has to know that his employees have something that keeps them busy outside of work, otherwise, their lives would only revolve around work, and they would be completely bored of it in a short time. Imagine if your employees went home after work, and did nothing until the next morning when they went back to work. This is why employers here in the US do look at these things in people's resumes and they do like to hear what the applicants are involved in outside of their main career interests. I hope that you would tone down your seriousness when you interview applicants because you might be saying no to people who would make excellent workers in your company. i Totaly agree with you Hamzeh, but you have to excuse me with this exception:
"a website for a friend of yours to impress his girlfreind; a website that has pink background, damar music, flowers & cheesy arabic poems" you dont know how much i hate those who design such a websites, i met so many of them, and all of them dont know anything about programing or even designing. man these days in jordan everything is possible especially with IT pepole. Tip #1
When you walk in, and a gentleman( wallahy konet labes formal ) stands up and introduces himself:"Ammar Ibrahim", don't say "3ala rasy, meet wardeh 7abeeby" HAHAHAAAAHAHAHAHAH I would have pissed myself (and showed him the door straight afterwards) 'meet wardeh 7abeeby' its just faaar to cheesy to be said ANYWHERE, but saying such a thing at a job interview deserves execution. Hillarious!
I've interviewed too many people in my life and have seen too many CVs. It's no longer funny.. Yes, it can be funny at the first time, but not very long...
